The Maurine Gray Literacy Program helps adult students achieve their literacy or testing goals. Students are evaluated upon entering the program, and progress is closely monitored by staff.
To be eligible for tutoring, students must be at least 18 years old, be willing to meet with a tutor for one to four hours a week for at least six months, provide their own transportation to an approved tutoring site, and be able to attend a lesson at least 60 minutes. There is a one-time registration fee of $10.
