Beaumont Fire Rescue operates 13 facilities – 12 working fire stations and fire headquarters. 

Front-line apparatus consists of 11 pumpers, three quints/aerials, two rescue units, and four chiefs’ cars. Specialty apparatus includes a hazardous materials response unit, a dual-purpose command/water response truck and a water response boat, ventilation and cascade unit, and brush truck. Other units include an inflatable fire safety house, FIREBLAST training prop, fire extinguisher trailer, staff and service vehicles.

Fire Headquarters:

The facility was designed by Livesay and Wiedmann Architects and built by McDaniel Brothers Construction in 1927 for $85,000.

Administration & Finance, Planning, and Logistics Sections are housed at Fire Headquarters on the 2nd floor of the building. The first floor is home to the Fire Museum of Texas, a free museum open to the public 7 days a week.

Listed as a historical landmark by the Texas Historical Commission, influences of the Spanish Renaissance revival, which was popular at the time, are evident in the red brick ornamentation and the geometric tile work under the eaves of the roof.
